3D Content Generation & Animation API for Developers and Teams

Text-to-3D, image-to-3D, video motion capture, and animation retargeting — accessible through V2Fun APIs for developer workflows, product integration, and enterprise use.

Product Positioning

An integrable, callable, and scalable 3D production service

From text, image, and video input to models, motion, and multi-format assets

V2Fun 3D API is a 3D content generation and animation production service for enterprises and developers — built for teams that need to integrate 3D generation into their own products, creative tools, or content pipelines.

V2Fun API wraps complex 3D production into an integrable, callable, and scalable service, covering the core flow from input to final assets. It sharply reduces the cost and turnaround of 3D content, with multi-format output for web display, game engines, animation, AR preview, and 3D printing.

Integration

Task-based calls, built for time-consuming 3D generation, mocap, and rendering

  1. 1

    Create a Task

Your system submits input assets, the target capability, and output requirements via the task creation endpoint.

  2. 2

    Get the Task ID

V2Fun returns a task ID — store it for subsequent status queries.

  3. 3

    Poll Status

Running, succeeded, and failed states are queryable — poll the status, or configure callbacks per your integration plan.

  4. 4

    Get Results

On completion, receive file URLs, previews, or asset IDs — ready to download, display, or write into your asset library.

  5. 5

    Enter Your Workflow

Feed results into editors, content production systems, 3D display, or downstream rendering to complete in-product integration.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I do with V2Fun Skills?

V2Fun Skills help AI agents use V2Fun’s 3D capabilities in your workflows. For example, V2Fun AI 3D combines AI generation and procedural modeling with Three.js to build and assemble assets from reference images and design briefs, then export GLB files and editable source files. Visit https://v2fun.ai/developers/skills for each Skill’s capabilities, inputs, outputs, and requirements.

Which AI agents or clients are supported?

Compatibility varies by Skill. V2Fun AI 3D currently provides installation instructions for Codex and requires local Skill support, file access, and script execution. Check the relevant Skill page or repository for the latest compatibility information for other agents and clients.

Do I need a V2Fun account and API Key?

To call the API directly or use remote V2Fun generation through a Skill, you need to sign in to a V2Fun account and create an API Key. Some local operations, such as V2Fun AI 3D’s local checks and local-only workflows, do not require a Key. See each Skill’s instructions for its specific requirements.

Are trial credits available?

Eligible accounts receive 100 API credits after successfully creating their first API Key, once per account. Existing V2Fun users who have never created an API Key are also eligible. Accounts that previously created an API Key do not receive a retroactive grant, and disabling a Key and creating a new one does not grant additional trial credits.

How are API credits used, and are they shared with V2Fun web credits?

Billable API operations consume API credits according to their applicable pricing rules, including when called through a Skill. Installing a Skill or running local-only operations does not itself consume API credits. API credits are separate from V2Fun web credits and cannot be used interchangeably. See the API documentation for billing details.

Can I buy more API credits when I run out?

Self-service purchases of API credits are not available during Developer Preview. If you need additional credits, contact us through the support options in the API Console so our team can review your usage needs.

What happens to my credits if a generation task fails?

For generation tasks that reserve credits in advance, the reserved credits are automatically returned according to the billing rules once the system marks the task as failed. A request timeout or a temporarily unavailable result does not necessarily mean the task has failed—check its status first. If you notice a credit discrepancy, contact us through the support options in the API Console.

Where can I get help or report an issue?

For Skill installation or usage issues, check the relevant repository’s instructions and issue-reporting options. V2Fun AI 3D users can visit its GitHub repository. For API integration questions, start with the API documentation. For account, credit, or other usage issues, contact us through the support options in the API Console. Never share your full API Key publicly.
